Incompressible Fluid Flow Through Pipes using AFT Fathom

ImageGrafix Academy - Hexagon Authorized Training Centre

Program Objective

Learn to use the AFT Fathom software proficiently, design and analyse piping system hydraulics along with graphs and reports.

Course Outline

This course will be completed with theory as well as hands on training session on AFT Fathom software. Attendees will be provided with AFT Fathom license during training session. Software training manual, practical case studies, technical papers will be shared. Fathom is an industry-leading fluid dynamic simulation software is used by a variety of industries around the world to develop design solutions and troubleshoot existing systems. This course will cover Pump and Piping System Hydraulics calculations using Fathom software. Major topics include Line Sizing, Pressure drop calculation, flow distribution, Pump selection and sizing, Control valve sizing, heat transfer through pipes and heat exchangers and Pipe network analysis for industrial applications like Cooling Water Systems, Fire protection systems, water supply and distribution networks, cross country pipelines etc. Whether you’re new or experienced user, you’ll find this training a worthwhile investment of your time!
